Glass lantern slides of Charlottesville, Virginia, and the University of Virginia [manuscript], ca. 1900-1910.

Scenes include the aftermath of a fire in the 300 block of East Main Street; a fireman's minstrel Tuesday; the Charlottesville Fire Dept. marching in a Washington, D.C. parade by H. A. Farnham; a portrait of a Charlottesville Fire Dept. member; and a Confederate Veterans reunion. There are also scenes from a [University of Virginia?] away football game; and the "Va. mascot" with a fox. Miscellaneous commercial slides include a portrait of Grover Cleveland; a colored art slide by Bates Slide Co., Pittsburg, Pa.; and two by Seabrook Brothers :the principals in Queen Esther accompanied by a cast of 75 singers, and hunters with trophies.
